SHIPPING & RETURNS

HILEMAN SHIPPING POLICY

Your new jewelry will shipped securely in a crush and tamper resistant cardboard box.  Your jewelry will be inside a small plastic bag which will be inside a hinged jewelry presentation box inside a matching cardboard box.  Remove your jewelry from the plastic bag and place it in the presentation box if you are giving it as a gift.  Store your jewelry in the presentation box when not wearing to keep it from getting scratched and dinged by your other jewelry items.

 

At this time, Hileman Inlay Jewelry ships merchandise via UPS to locations within the United States and U.S. territories, including Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, and the US Virgin Islands. Additionally, Hileman Inlay Jewelry ships merchandise to Canada, the UK, Australia and some additional international locations. Please contact us to see if we can ship to your country.  Packages are insured for the purchase value and tracking information may be sent to your email address if provided.  Our shopping cart will calculate the shipping charges automatically based on the shipping options you select.  In stock items will ship in 1-3 days after payment is processed and you will receive an email with tracking information once the shipping label is created.  Made to order rings and special order items will take 4 to 6 weeks to create and ship.  Shipping times will vary based on your location.  International customers may experience some delays for customs clearance and the customer will be responsible for any duty or import fees/taxes due prior to delivery.  


Due to the value of most shipments, our shipping insurance will require a signature for delivery. Keep in mind that UPS may still leave your package on your front porch so please supply a safe shipping address or business address if theft from your porch is a concern.  You can also use your tracking number and have your package held at a UPS Store for pick up if you are not available to sign.  UPS will make three delivery attempts before returning the package to sender so make sure you contact UPS with alternative delivery instructions if you will not be available to sign for the package.  If you have supplied an email address at time of ordering, you will receive shipping notifications from UPS about the status of your shipment.  We also suggest that you include a phone number with your order so we can add it to the UPS shipping label and make it easier for UPS to contact you with any delivery issues.

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS
Customs and import duties may be applied to international orders when the shipment reaches its destination. Such charges are the responsibility of the customer or recipient of your order and vary from country to country. Contact your local customs office for cost details or an estimate of the amount that may be due.  We will need your telephone number and/or email address for the customs form so you can be contacted by customs about any balance due before final delivery.

 

Shipping laws are different in each country. It is your responsibility to check with your customs office to verify whether or not your country permits shipment of your order. Hileman Inlay Jewelry is not responsible for any direct, indirect, punitive, or consequential damages that arise from improper international shipping practices.

HILEMAN RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY

You may receive a refund for "stock" items returned in original "new" condition as long as Hileman Inlay Jewelry receives the item within 10 days of the purchase date. Returnable "stock" items includes earrings, pendants and rings (not special orders) we have available for immediate purchase and shipment because they are available in your size.  If we have to make the ring in your size, it is not a stock item and is not returnable.  We will process your refund within 48 hours of receiving your returned item.  It may take several days for it to be credited back to your credit card account.  Special orders, made-to-order ring sizes and special inlay requests are not returnable. Items approved for return after 10 days will receive a merchandise credit only unless otherwise agreed upon. Items are not returnable for any reason after 14 days unless agreed upon prior to purchase. Shipping charges will not be refunded.

 

Customer satisfaction is our top priority so we will work with you to resolve any issues.  Items are closely inspected before being shipped from our jewelry studio. If you receive an item that has been damaged during shipment, save the box and notify the carrier (UPS) of the damages and then contact us so we can follow up with UPS. If you notice a defect in the jewelry, contact us for return instructions and we will repair the defect, replace the item with a new one or refund your purchase price if we cannot repair it. We cannot warranty our products due to the varying wear and tear based on customer activities and care.  The customer is responsible for supplying us with the correct ring size when ordering.  We cannot accept returns for sizing errors so please be certain you are ordering the correct size.  Here's some finger sizing tips.
