The ring has a beautiful white sapphire in the center with 6 pieces of lab created opal inlaid into a heavy sterling silver ring mounting. The lab created opal is a nice blue-green color with lots of fire. Special care was taken while cutting the lab opal to make it mimic the look of Australian opal. The princess cut white sapphire is a 5mm square and weighs .80 carats. White sapphire is a great natural alternative to a diamond. White sapphires are very hard and durable stones that look very similar to diamonds at a much more reasonable cost.
This ring measures 6.5mm wide at the top and is shown in a size 6 1/2 for scale. The ring will be made to order in your size in 4 to 6 weeks. A moissanite, blue topaz, garnet or other colored stone could also be substituted for the white sapphire by special order. Lab Opal Ring with White Sapphire
It is very important that you give us your correct size when ordering as it is difficult to adjust the size without using a laser welder and risking damage to the ring. The paper finger sizers you might find on the internet and print out are not accurate so please do not use them. We have experimented and found that they vary from a 1/4 size to a full size in error. Please visit a local jeweler (or two) and get your finger sized properly. We depend on you, the customer, to provide us with the correct size so please do not estimate or guess. Special order size rings are NOT RETURNABLE.
