Tan dinosaur bone ring handmade in cobalt chrome by Hileman Silver Jewelry. This cobalt chrome ring is inlaid with 5 pieces of dinosaur bone. Inlaying the ring with 5 large sections of dinosaur bone really shows off the beautiful pattern of the veining and colors. We chose to inlay this ring without the silver dividers between the dinosaur bone to create the illusion of one solid piece of dinosaur bone going across the ring, but we can make the ring with the dividers if you prefer that look.
The ring is 7 mm wide at the top and slightly tapers down to 5.5 mm at the bottom. The ring is a nice weight with plenty of metal thickness for refinishing if needed. It is shown in the photos in a size 10 1/2 for scale. This ring is only available in the size 10 1/2 shown. We are no longer offering cobalt chrome as a metal option. The metal is so hard, it takes much longer to polish and it hard on our equipment. Special orders in other available metals will be made to order in your ring size in 3 to 6 weeks. This dinosaur bone ring would make a nice alternative wedding ring or man's engagement ring and a matching woman's dinosaur bone wedding band could be made to make a set. This ring style is also available in other inlay materials such as red dinosaur bone, lab created opal or plain blue turquoise. Cobalt chrome is a relatively new metal for jewelry. It is a very hard metal that is highly scratch resistant making it a great choice for everyday wear rings such as wedding rings. Cobalt chrome is similar in color to platinum and similar in weight to gold. It is 4 times harder than platinum, 5 times harder than gold and 7 times harder than silver and it won't shatter or crack. You will still need to wear the ring with care and protect the dinosaur bone inlay from impacts as it is not as hard as the cobalt chrome.

Finger Size
It is very important that you give us your correct size when ordering as it is difficult to adjust the size without using a laser welder and risking damage to the ring. The paper finger sizers you might find on the internet and print out are not accurate so please do not use them. We have experimented and found that they vary from a 1/4 size to a full size in error. Please visit a local jeweler (or two) and get your finger sized properly. We depend on you, the customer, to provide us with the correct size so please do not estimate or guess. Special order size rings are NOT RETURNABLE.
